Custom Branding

Customize your flipbooks with your own logo, brand colors, fonts, and custom domain.

Custom Branding

ZenFlip lets you make your flipbooks look like they belong to your brand, not ours. Add your logo, pick your colors, choose your fonts, and even serve flipbooks from your own domain.

Plan requirement: Custom branding is available on Creator, Business, and Enterprise plans. Custom domain is available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Accessing Branding Settings

  1. Go to Settings from the top navigation

  2. Select the Branding tab

  3. Configure your brand elements

  4. Click Save

Branding settings apply across all your publications by default. You can also override branding on individual publications if needed.

Upload your brand logo to replace the ZenFlip branding in the flipbook viewer.

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG

  • Recommended size: 200 x 50 pixels (or similar horizontal aspect ratio)

  • Max file size: 2 MB

  • Transparency: PNG or SVG with transparent background works best

Your logo appears in the viewer toolbar. On smaller screens, it scales down automatically to fit.

Tip: Use a horizontal (landscape) logo for the best fit. Tall or square logos may be cropped or appear small in the viewer toolbar.

Brand Colors

Customize the color scheme of your flipbook viewer to match your brand identity. You can set:

Primary Color

The main accent color used for buttons, links, and interactive elements in the viewer. Enter a hex color code (e.g., #2563EB) or use the color picker.

Background Color

The background behind the flipbook pages. Common choices include:

  • Dark gray (#1a1a1a) - Creates a professional, immersive reading experience

  • White (#ffffff) - Clean and minimal, works well for embedded flipbooks

  • Custom brand color - Match your website's background for seamless embeds

Text Color

The color for UI text elements in the viewer, such as page numbers, toolbar labels, and navigation hints. Make sure it has enough contrast against your background color for readability.

Fonts

Choose the typography for your flipbook viewer's interface elements (toolbar, page numbers, overlays). This does not affect the text within your PDF pages - those fonts are embedded in the PDF itself.

ZenFlip offers a curated selection of web fonts including:

  • Sans-serif options: Inter, Open Sans, Roboto, Lato, Poppins

  • Serif options: Merriweather, Playfair Display, Lora

  • Monospace options: JetBrains Mono, Fira Code

Select a font from the dropdown in your branding settings. The font loads from Google Fonts for fast, reliable delivery.

Custom Domain

Available on: Business and Enterprise plans.

Serve your flipbooks from your own domain instead of zenflip.app. For example:

Setting Up a Custom Domain

  1. Go to Settings > Branding > Custom Domain

  2. Enter your desired subdomain (e.g., flipbooks.yourcompany.com)

  3. ZenFlip will provide a CNAME record value

  4. Log into your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.)

  5. Add a new CNAME record pointing your subdomain to the value ZenFlip provided

  6. Return to ZenFlip and click Verify Domain

  7. SSL certificate provisioning happens automatically (may take up to 30 minutes)

Important notes:

  • Use a subdomain (like flipbooks.yourcompany.com), not a root domain

  • DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours, though it's usually much faster

  • SSL is provisioned automatically - your custom domain will serve over HTTPS

  • All existing direct links using zenflip.app will continue to work

Previewing Your Branding

After saving branding changes, use the Preview button to see how your branding looks in the viewer without affecting live publications. When you're satisfied, your branding applies to all publications automatically.

Per-Publication Branding Overrides

If you need different branding for a specific publication (for example, a white-label project for a client), you can override the global branding settings:

  1. Open the publication's settings

  2. Scroll to the Branding section

  3. Toggle Use custom branding for this publication

  4. Set the logo, colors, and fonts for this specific publication

  5. Click Save

This publication will use its own branding while all others continue to use your global settings.
