Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 8 March 2026 Last Updated: 8 March 2026
Zentrovia Solutions Private Limited ("Zentrovia", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to ensuring that the ZenFlip digital publishing platform at zenflip.io is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to create, publish, and consume digital content without barriers.
1. Our Commitment
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. Accessibility is integrated into our design and development processes, and we continually work to identify and eliminate barriers.
2. Scope
This statement covers: the marketing website (zenflip.io); the application dashboard (app.zenflip.io); the flipbook viewer (publications served via zenflip.io and custom domains); documentation (zenflip.io/docs); and AI Chat interfaces embedded in publications.
3. Conformance Status
All components are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA as of February 2026. "Partially conformant" means some areas do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively addressing identified gaps.
4. Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are keyboard-operable with logical tab order. The flipbook viewer supports arrow keys, Page Up/Down, Home/End. Keyboard shortcuts are documented via the "?" key.
Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML5 elements, ARIA landmarks, roles, labels, and live regions are implemented. Form inputs have associated labels and programmatically linked error messages. Dynamic updates use ARIA live regions.
Visual Design: Colour contrast meets WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 normal text, 3:1 large text). Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements. Light and dark themes both meet contrast requirements. Text resizes to 200% without loss of content. Content reflows down to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
Navigation: Skip links, consistent navigation, breadcrumbs, descriptive page titles, and logical heading hierarchy throughout.
Flipbook Viewer: Linear reading mode as an alternative to page-turning. Keyboard-accessible viewer controls (zoom, navigation, fullscreen, TOC, print, download). PDF text layers are preserved for screen readers where the source PDF is accessible.
AI Chat: AI Chat interfaces support keyboard navigation, screen reader announcements for new messages via ARIA live regions, high-contrast text, and the ability to resize text. AI responses are marked as AI-generated for clarity.
Responsive Design: Fully responsive across devices. Touch targets meet minimum 24x24 CSS pixel requirement (44x44 for primary actions). Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion.
5. Known Limitations
PDF source quality: Accessibility depends on the source PDF. We provide guidance on creating accessible PDFs and recommend PDF/UA (ISO 14289-1) compliance.
Complex analytics charts: Some dashboard visualisations may not fully convey data to screen reader users. Data tables and CSV export are provided as alternatives.
Third-party content: Embedded services (Stripe, AI providers) may not fully meet our standards. We select accessibility-conscious vendors.
AI Chat dynamic content: Rapidly streaming AI responses may challenge some screen reader configurations. We are optimising ARIA live region implementation for progressive disclosure.
