Zentrovia Solutions Private Limited ("Zentrovia", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to ensuring that the ZenFlip digital publishing platform at zenflip.io is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to create, publish, and consume digital content without barriers.
1. Our Commitment
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. Accessibility is integrated into our design and development processes, and we continually work to identify and eliminate barriers.
2. Scope
This statement covers: the marketing website (zenflip.io); the application dashboard (app.zenflip.io); the flipbook viewer (publications served via zenflip.io and custom domains); documentation (zenflip.io/docs); and AI Chat interfaces embedded in publications.
3. Conformance Status
All components are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA as of September 2026. "Partially conformant" means some areas do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively addressing identified gaps.
4. Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation: Controls in the flipbook viewer are keyboard-operable with a logical tab order and skip links. The viewer supports arrow keys and Home/End for page navigation and Escape to close menus and dialogs; keyboard shortcuts are listed via the "?" key. When a publisher turns on automatic page turning, readers can pause it.
Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, roles and labels. Page changes in the flipbook viewer are announced once through a live region, and dialogs and menus move focus in and return it when closed. Reader-facing forms have associated labels and announced error messages.
Visual Design: We design to WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) with visible focus indicators. The flipbook viewer and Text view have been checked in light and dark themes, resize to 200% without loss of content, and reflow down to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
Navigation: Skip links, consistent navigation, descriptive page titles and a logical heading hierarchy.
Flipbook Viewer: Scroll view and Text view as alternatives to page-turning; Text view presents a whole publication as one accessible web page. Headings, lists, tables and image descriptions from tagged PDFs are passed to screen readers. Keyboard-accessible viewer controls (navigation, zoom, fullscreen, contents, search, share, and print or download where enabled).
AI Chat: AI Chat can be used from the keyboard (Escape closes the chat panel), announces new messages to screen readers through a live region, and supports text resizing. AI responses are marked as AI-generated.
Responsive Design: Responsive across devices. We design touch targets to at least 24x24 CSS pixels, and the flipbook viewer respects the reduced-motion setting.
5. Known Limitations
PDF source quality: Headings, lists and image descriptions come from the source PDF's accessibility tags. Untagged PDFs still provide their text but not headings or image descriptions, and words that appear only inside an image are read only if the PDF's alt text or a page description includes them. We provide guidance on creating accessible PDFs and recommend PDF/UA (ISO 14289-1).
Complex analytics charts: Some dashboard visualisations may not fully convey data to screen reader users. Data tables and CSV export are provided as alternatives.
Third-party content: Embedded services (Razorpay, AI providers) may not fully meet our standards. We select accessibility-conscious vendors.
AI Chat dynamic content: Rapidly streaming AI responses may challenge some screen reader configurations. We are optimising ARIA live region implementation for progressive disclosure.
Mobile apps: The ZenFlip mobile apps have not yet been evaluated against WCAG.
Audio and video hotspots: Audio and uploaded video added to a page cannot yet carry captions, a transcript or a described version. Hosted video (YouTube, Vimeo) uses the host player's captions. Transcript upload and read-out is in development, targeted for the end of September 2026.
HTML and SCORM exports: Exports created before September 2026 do not include text for screen readers. Exporting the publication again adds it.
6. Standards Referenced
WCAG 2.2 Level AA (primary target); WAI-ARIA 1.2; Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (India); Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (US); EN 301 549 v3.2.1 (EU); European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882); and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
7. Testing and Evaluation
Automated accessibility scans (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 AA rules) of the flipbook viewer, Text view, HTML/SCORM exports and reader-facing pages; manual keyboard testing; and screen reader testing with VoiceOver on macOS. Screen reader testing with NVDA 2026.2 on Windows 11 with Chrome was completed in September 2026 over three rounds, and the fixes it produced were verified independently by a customer's accessibility compliance specialist. JAWS testing has not yet been carried out. The ZenFlip mobile apps, iOS VoiceOver and Android TalkBack have not been evaluated.

9. Feedback and Contact
Report accessibility barriers at support@zenflip.io with subject line "Accessibility Feedback". Include a description of the issue, assistive technology used, browser/OS, and steps to reproduce. We acknowledge within 2 business days and respond substantively within 10 business days.
