v1.8 — TTS Analytics, Smarter ZenGuy & SCIM Live

TTS Sessions in Publication Analytics

Every publication analytics dashboard now shows a TTS Sessions metric: the number of unique reading sessions in which a reader activated the text-to-speech feature. Each session is counted once — starting TTS, stopping it, and starting it again in the same session still counts as one TTS Session.

What it measures: Reader-initiated TTS activations from idle — not resumes from pause. This captures intentional use of the accessibility feature rather than incidental restarts.

Why it matters for publishers:

  • Measure the real-world adoption rate of your TTS investment

  • Identify publications where readers lean heavily on audio reading — and optimise TTS quality there first

  • Report accessibility ROI to stakeholders: "X% of reading sessions for this publication used TTS"

  • Segment by date range to see whether TTS adoption changes over time or after content updates

TTS Sessions appear as a card in the per-publication analytics dashboard alongside Views, Unique Viewers, Average Read Time, and Shares. It is available on Business plans and above and is tracked retroactively from the moment this update ships — historical data from prior versions is not available.

ZenGuy Now Decides When to Offer Support Contact

ZenGuy — the AI chat assistant on the ZenFlip marketing site — no longer appends a support email to every response. The previous behaviour added "Questions? Reach us at support@zenflip.io" to the end of every message regardless of context, which made routine product Q&A feel scripted.

ZenGuy now decides when the support contact is genuinely helpful:

  • When ZenGuy can't fully answer: "I don't have enough information on that — reach us at support@zenflip.io"

  • When a reader describes a technical issue: ZenGuy suggests contacting support with context

  • When someone asks about enterprise pricing or custom plans: ZenGuy directs them to sales

For standard product and pricing questions, ZenGuy answers directly without appending a footer.

SCIM 2.0 Provisioning Confirmed Live

SCIM 2.0 automated user provisioning is confirmed production-ready on Enterprise plans. The integration was validated with TrustLogin (GMO GlobalSign) — SAML 2.0 and SCIM 2.0 provisioning both work end-to-end.

Enterprise customers can configure SCIM from Settings > Security alongside SSO. When SCIM is active, new team members added in your identity provider are automatically invited to your ZenFlip organisation, and removed members are deprovisioned. Supported identity providers include Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, TrustLogin, and any IdP implementing SCIM 2.0.

SCIM provisioning and SSO/SAML are available on the Enterprise plan only. Contact sales@zenflip.io to get started.
