Restoring a Deleted Publication

Deleted a publication by mistake? You can restore it for 30 days.

Restoring a Deleted Publication

Deleting a publication does not remove it straight away. You can bring it back for 30 days. After that it is permanently removed, including its files, and it cannot be recovered by you or by ZenFlip support.

Restore a publication

  1. Go to Publications in your dashboard

  2. Click view deleted, in the line under the page title. When there is something you can still restore, a small number next to the link shows how many

  3. On the Deleted publications page, find the publication. Each one shows how many days are left

  4. Click Restore

The publication goes back into your publications list with the status it had when you deleted it, so a published one is published again.

Things to know

  • The last day. A publication on its last day shows that it will be removed in tonight's cleanup. Restore it now if you need it.

  • Nothing listed? Nothing deleted in the last 30 days means there is nothing left to recover.

  • Deleting is in the ⋯ menu next to a publication in your list. It is worth checking you have the right one: the 30 days are a safety net, not a recycle bin to keep things in.
