Can I use more than one monetization model at the same time?
Yes. For example, a magazine publisher might run direct-booked ads across all pages, use a lead form to gate a premium supplement, and password-protect an archive section for paying subscribers. All three models run independently and their data is tracked separately in the dashboard.
Can I sell publications directly — like a one-time purchase?
ZenFlip does not have a built-in payment processor. The reader-access model uses password protection or email gating. If you want to sell access, the typical approach is: set up a payment page on Stripe, Gumroad, or your existing e-commerce tool, and deliver the ZenFlip password to buyers after purchase. Zapier webhooks make this automation straightforward to configure.
What's the minimum plan to start monetizing?
Password protection and email gating (reader-access model) are available on Creator ($15/month annual). The full lead capture form with Zapier webhooks and the full ad stack — direct-booked slots, MRC viewability, advertiser portal, revenue ledger — require the Business plan ($39/month annual).
How do I connect lead captures to my CRM?
Business plans include Zapier webhooks. When a reader submits the lead form, ZenFlip fires a webhook that Zapier picks up and routes to whichever CRM or marketing tool you use — HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, or any of the 5,000+ apps in the Zapier ecosystem. Enterprise plans can also receive webhook events directly without Zapier.
Can I see analytics for gated versus non-gated content engagement?
Yes. The analytics dashboard shows views, read depth, and time-on-page for the whole publication — including the free preview pages before the gate. You can see at which page readers hit the gate and what percentage convert. This data helps you optimise where to place the gate for maximum conversion.
Does ZenFlip support affiliate or promoter links?
Yes, on Business plans and above. From Settings > Affiliates, give a promoter a unique tracked link to your storefront (works with your zenflip.io URL or a verified custom domain), set their commission rate, and optionally scope them to specific publications. Purchases within 30 days of a click are automatically attributed, and commission locks in at the rate active at the time of sale. ZenFlip tracks what you owe each promoter, but you pay them directly — ZenFlip does not process the payout itself.
Are there any limits on how many leads I can capture?
No. There are no lead capture limits on Business plans. All captured leads are stored in your ZenFlip dashboard and exported to your CRM via Zapier. Enterprise plans include direct API access for real-time lead streaming.
